Tips & Advice
- To make the most of your visit and avoid disappointment, pre-book your parking tickets online well in advance, as they are required for all vehicles and can sell out.
- Arrive early in the day, especially on weekends, to experience the market with fewer crowds and enjoy the festive atmosphere at its best.
- Consider using public transportation to reach Chatsworth, as several bus routes stop directly at the estate, offering a convenient and potentially more eco-friendly option.
- Dress in layers, as the market is partially outdoors and the Peak District weather can be unpredictable; comfortable footwear is also recommended for exploring the stalls.
- Take advantage of the 'Christmas at Chatsworth' ticket if you plan to visit the house and gardens as well, as it includes access to the market.
