In the new area „Steege“, a nostalgic Ferris wheel stands for the first time, on the Salzhof again the 12m Christmas pyramid, and „At Schliepsteiner Tor“ the Christmas village around mulled wine.

The Christmas market at Salzhof transforms the historic old town of Bad Salzuflen into a romantic setting. 65 lovingly decorated wooden pavilions offer a picturesque Advent season amidst impressive half-timbered houses. The 12-meter-high Christmas pyramid on Salzhof is a focal point and meeting place. Hand-carved figures rotate tirelessly, while wine punch, egg punch, or Christmas beer entice. On the stages at Schliepsteiner Tor and Salzhof, a colorful program of Christmas and children's songs to hits is presented. Classical craftsmen like a Christmas tree ornament painter and a woodcarver show their skills, and Werner Korzen again carves birdhouses live with a chainsaw from tree trunks.
