I Ceres Byen kan du parkere lige over for Den Gamle By i et underjordisk parkeringshus. Med de særlige "Den Gamle By-billetter" kan du vælge mellem 6 eller 8 timers parkering fra kun 90 kr. Din parkeringstid starter, når du ankommer. Aarhus Kommune har indført betalingsparkering i området omkring Den Gamle By. Derfor skal man registrere sin nummerplade enten via app eller parkeringsautomat. Den Gamle By er placeret i gul p-zone. Det betyder, at der er betalingsparkering hverdage og lørdage, og gratis parkering søndage og helligdage. Hvis man vil betale via app er områdenummer/zonen 8200. Pris pr. time for parkering: Hverdage kl. 08.00 - 19.00, 23,- Hverdage kl. 19.00 - 23.00, 10,- Lørdage kl. 08.00 - 16.00, 23,- Lørdage kl. 16.00 - 23.00, 10,- Søndage og helligdage gratis. Der er parkeringsautomater tæt ved Den Gamle By. Den nærmeste ligger lige om hjørnet på Eugen Warmings Vej. Derudover er de tætteste automater midt på Herningvej, Poppelpladsen (Væksthusene) samt Eugen Warmings Vej/Ringvejen. Busparkering samt af- og pålæsning: Der er afsætning og påstigning på Viborgvej, men det er ikke tilladt at holde her. Ved Prismet på hjørnet af Silkeborgvej og Viborgvej er der 3 p-pladser til busser. Det er også muligt at parkere bus ved Dollerupvej (ved Aarhus Tech), cirka 10 minutters gang fra Den Gamle By. Camper-parkering: Det er muligt at parkere sin camper ved Poppelpladsen (den runde p-plads ved Væksthusene). I forhold til overnatning, er det muligt at parkere ved Marselisborg Havn. Her er der syv parkeringspladser.

Der findes to offentlige handicapparkeringer på Mønsgade tæt på Hovedindgangen. Derudover offentlig parkering langs Viborgvej. Når der er tale om handicapparkering, skal det ikke registreres. Der er gratis parkering, hvis der er et synligt handicapskilt i forruden. Dette gælder alle parkeringspladser som tilhører Aarhus Kommune, også de pladser som ikke er reserveret til handicapparkering.
